Yoga: Kleshas
his collection brings to life the five Kleshas described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali —
- Avidyaa (ignorance)
- Asmitaa (self-sense)
- Raaga (attachment/likes)
- Dvesha (aversion/dislikes)
- AbhiniveshaH (I am the doer or ego).
Each T-shirt in this series is more than art — it is a mirror of the human mind field called the citta .
We often fight battles not outside, but inside. The five Kleshas (impurities) are the inner elements that manifest as Citta Vrittis. We identify ourselves with these activations and react thus losing our inner peace . In addition our individual karmA bring us pleasure and pain periodically, and keep us stuck in patterns.
By giving the kleshAs shape, color, and abstract expression, these designs invite you to notice them and not suppress or fight them. The moment we become observers of these obstacles, transformation begins!
